Does Lazy Bear have a low-income program?

Hello! I recently was invited to join a group of friends at Lazy Bear this year but I’m currently struggling with financial issues. I’d love to attend the event and I was wondering if they offer tickets to low-income attendees?

Hey there!

Lazy Bear does has some opportunities to volunteer to help cover the cost of the badges. Volunteer points go real quick though and you might be cutting it close to finding any open slots.

PupDucky is correct. For those who cannot afford tags, Lazy Bear offers volunteer shifts - and 8 hours of service gets you a Bear Tag. Most of the slots for LBW2024 are filled, but send an email to info@lazybearfund.org and submit your name to volunteer. Not sure what shifts are available or IF there’s anything available this close to the event, but it’s worth a try.

This is an aside, but there are also tags available through sponsorships, different numbers of tags at different levels - if you have a connection to a sponsor, then that’s an avenue to pursue. Check out Sponsors — Lazy Bear Week
